NBA 2K13 On Ipad & Android

NBA 2K13 is making a leap this year from game consoles to tablets. First time hearing this for me so I"m super excited to ball on the go.  So I did some digging to get the initial intel on the tablet version of NBA 2K13. No release yet, but coming this fall to the public. From the screen shots the graphics are really good, take a look at LeBorn.

""Players can control teams with a virtual D-pad and buttons. But 2K Sports is also introducing one-touch controls for the more casual fans. All gamers have to do is tap on an offensive player to steal. Swipe up to block and rebound. Tap on a player to pass. They never control actual player movements; instead, the team moves on its own, controlled by the AI, which is also improved.
It’s a simplified control scheme that opens up the game to more people. One thing I especially liked is how you can call plays just by holding down on an icon in the bottom right corner. On offense, it brings up three options like a screen, iso or a drive to the basket. Pick one and the AI player with the ball executes the command. All gamers have to do is decide when to rise and fire.
Aside from these gameplay improvements, 2K Sports and 2K China added synchronous multiplayer. Now fans can connect via Bluetooth locally or GameCenter to compete against others around the globe. The other upgrade is in the Association mode and the addition of NBA’s Greatest Moments Mode. First off, Association is improved, letting players make trades and continue playing through an indefinite number of seasons. Second, the Greatest Moments Mode lets gamers replay epic games like Kobe’s 81 point explosion against the Raptors. The game will have a set number of these moments available with additional packs selling for 99 cents later on. The mobile game will satisfy some fans when it comes out this fall for $7.99."

Vote For Madden Player Ratings!

Vote For Player Ratings!!!

All the ratings have been decided but no overall. Something like voting for the Madden 13 cover now EA is letting the fans have a little piece of say so on their player ratings! What EA decided to do a entire release program for ratings. Starting Mon July 30th.

1.Week of the Quarterbacks

2.Week of the Running backs

Vote on EA Sports facebook page: EASportsMaddenNFL

At the end on the week on Friday EA will release the top ten results that the fans voted and the rest of the players ratings that week.

Fans out allowed to vote on one of four different attributes like speed, awareness, throwing power, and accuracy. Running backs will be different ratings to vote for and also Wide outs. Only rating they'll have in common to vote for most likely is speed. I'm assuming week 3 is Wide outs but no telling. For more details check out this Podcast. Twenty mins longs only first five minutes about madden, last fifteen about Fantasy Football, lol.

I know this is just a marketing plot to get Madden 13 hyped up like always. SMH, but it worked! I will be voting, how bout you? I wonder how much of votes will really make a difference.

p.s. CJK is the fastest RB in the league, so don't flex

Fifa 13 Career Mode News!

Big News Today. They have dropped the information on career mode!

International Management

As your reputation as a manager grows in Career Mode you will now be offered the chance to manage International teams in addition to the club side you are already playing with.
Your performance and manager reputation in Career Mode dictates the quality of the international offers you will receive.
Your nationality and the league you manage in will also effect the type of International offers you receive.
Rumours about interested nations will circulate in the press for some months before you actually receive a firm offer.
Squad selection will be a key part of your International management duties and deadlines for selections (one week prior to friendlies, one month prior to tournaments) have to be met.
International competitions will run in parallel with the club game meaning you could land a job in the middle of a qualifying campaign.
International management has it’s own Career Mode “Hub” keeping your club and country separate.

In Match Live Score Updates

Whilst playing your Career Mode matches you’ll now receive audio updates from other games being played in your league voiced by Alan Mcinally and Geoff Shreeves.
The live updates cover goal, red card and penalty incidents.
Example – Shreeves: “Goal at Anfield, Fulham’s Clint Dempsey scores a brilliant freekick to make it 2-1, 73 minutes played” Tyler “Thanks Geoff”
You can select/de-select the matches you want to hear audio updates from prior to playing starting your match.

Player Stories

Interaction with players is now more regular with instant feedback received based on managerial decisions.
Player Stories can now run for months in to Career Mode re-emerging if you go through a bad run of results or when you sell/buy a key player.
Specific Player Stories also occur when managing an International team, meaning you’ll need to keep both club and country happy.
Fan stories will now make top news in the press based on team performance.

Be A Player
Once you’ve chosen your player (VP or real) you receive a set of Season Objectives to complete from the manager. The type of player you choose (forward, midfielder, defender, etc) will shape these objectives.
As well as Season Objectives you’ll also be asked to achieve objectives every four matches. This could include, goals, clean sheets, pass/tackle completion percentages, etc. The quality of opposition over these four games will decide the values you are asked to achieve.
If you are unhappy you now have the option to request a transfer, or request a loan to gain more match experience.
If you choose to play for a top club with a low rated VP you will not be a first team starter to begin with, you’ll be loaned to gain experience first.
If fatigued or playing poorly the manager can now substitute your player.
Once your playing days are over can can opt to retire and take up management.

Classified Results

After each Career Mode match you now receive a rundown of the classified results through in-game audio (think BBC Final Score)
League table updates are also fed back to you as well as any upcoming fixtures. These audio sequences happen less regularly than the classified results.
When this audio is running you can still browse all Career Mode menus and continue to the next game week.

Managers Office

You can now view any available managerial positions via the Jobs Board, this allows you to change clubs mid season should you wish to.
Your manager now appears on the touchline in matches based on customisation options chosen at the start of Career Mode.

Transfer Negotiations

The transfer system has been completely re-written for Career Mode in FIFA 13.
You can now offer player plus cash and player trade deals to the CPU.
When offering to loan players you can now set a future purchase price to sign the player permanently at the end of the loan period.
When the CPU makes an offer for one of your players you can now choose to “Counter Offer” to ask for more money. The CPU will then choose to accept, reject or make a counter offer of their own.
Contract negotiations now contain advice from your Chief Executive which act as a guide to what they think the club and player may want.
When offering contracts you can now choose a role for the player you’re trying to sign eg Crucial Player, Important Player, Future Star. This expectation will effect whether a player chooses to join your club.
Prior to making a firm offer you can now make an Enquiry to find out whether a player is available and how much the club want for them.
You can now make offers for players directly from media stories by pressing the left stick.
A new Financial Strictness setting will limit the percentage of players sales that go back in to your transfer budget (chosen at the start of CM).

Breaking News

A new “Sky Sports” style overlay will now deliver breaking and top news to the Career Mode hub.

Edit Players

You now have the ability to edit player appearance during your Career Mode seasons. This option can be unlocked via the new EASFC Catalogue.

User Interface

You can now read news articles from the media pane whilst the game is advancing.
The first time you enter Career Mode menus a tutorial overlay appears to guide you through each panes function.

What is Madden Ultimate Team?

What is Madden Ultimate Team?

Ultimate team is basically a virtual card game. You will open packs and collect different cards. These cards will consist of players, coaches, stadiums and other special items. Objective of the game is to build the best possible team then prove their worth on the field using those cards. The more you play the more coins you earn to buy more and better packs. Simple

These are a couple of features that will be in MUT: Solo challenges, head to head play online, trade cards, and auction cards. That’s really just the tip of the ice berg for what can be done in MUT but that’s the basics.

Thoughts

If you like the Madden franchise mode you owe yourself at least a look at this mode. I look forward to the challenge from starting with bench warmers and a second tier QB. To building a dynasty with a little patience, trading, and bidding at the auctions. I breathe like a General Manager, plus it’s free, no harm no foul. I will be diving straight into MUT and developing & blogging strategies for the fastest and most efficient ways to earn coins. Subscribe for tips & hints.

NBA 2K13 Release

Last year’s NBA 2k12 cover featured three of the greatest basketball players of all time; Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan.  Who should inherit the 2k cover after? With this year’s edition of 2k, it’s the fresh new talent in today’s NBA.  I call them the “Fresh Class”.  Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, and Kevin Durant.  Each of these superstars has taken the NBA by storm. All three are past winners of the NBA Rookie of the Year award, together amassed eight All-Star appearances, three scoring titles, and one MVP award between them.

“There are many young superstars in today’s NBA, but we’ve selected three incredible athletes for the cover of NBA 2K13 that represent the NBA well,” concluded Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “It’s clear to us that Blake, Derrick and Kevin are the most deserving guys to inherit the NBA 2K cover from Jordan, Magic and Bird.”

There are many young superstars in today’s NBA, and these three are the most deserving when it comes down to it
.
Sorry Bron Bron, maybe next year.

Fifa 13 Cover

Lionel Messi landed the cover of Fifa 13. What a surprise, "Check out the hair lol" I did some digging to see whats so amazing about this speedster. First he is only 25 now look at the rest of the states.
  • Squad No: 10
  • Position: Forward
  • Age: 25
  • Birth Date: Jun 24, 1987
  • Birth Place: Rosario, Argentina
  • Height: 5' 7'' (1.70m)
  • Weight: 67 kg

Career States:
Games Started - 329
Goals - 270
Assisted - 97

  • BIO:
Lionel Messi is the heir apparent to the throne left vacant by Diego Armando Maradona. The waters are divided between those who consider him to be far from being the best No. 10, and those who believe that Messi will be even better than Maradona.
Born in Rosario, he cut his teeth in the youth ranks of Newell's Old Boys, until a hormonal problem that affected his growth changed the plans of his family and, of course, his personal future. Facing expensive treatment for their son, Messi's parents moved to Spain as Newell's were not able to afford the medical costs related to his condition, and even the wealthiest Argentine teams, such as River Plate, refused to foot the bill.
After his first trial with Barcelona, the Catalan coaches had no doubts. They decided to sign Messi and pay for his medical treatment. His growth was noticeable within Barca, and in little time he came to be considered one of the great talents at the club. He made his debut in the first division in October 2004, against Espanyol, and Barcelona have since adopted him as one of their greatest idols.
His first championship would come in the Liga season of 2004-05. Since then, and playing a more prominent role every season, he has won every major club trophy at Camp Nou - including a stunning haul of six in 2008-09 - and claimed the World Player of the Year award three times in three years, leaving many in little doubt as to the fact that Messi is the best player of his generation; possibly of all-time.
That idea was given further weight in March 2012 when, at the age of 24, he became the all-time top scorer at Barcelona - beating the 232 goals of Cesar Rodriguez.
Strengths: His ball skills are second to none, his runs from midfield are usually lethal and he is almost impossible to tackle when he gets his head down. His balance when running at speed is incredible.
Weaknesses: Too often he searches for a way to finish moves by himself without looking for team-mates in a better position to shoot at goal.
Career high: Winning the 2009, 2010 and 2011 World Player of the Year awards.
Career low: He was unable to perform to his best in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, where Argentina were eliminated in the quarter-finals with Messi looking on from the bench.
Style: Quick, incisive, balanced, a stylish runner with the ball.
Quotes: "Messi is my Maradona," said Maradona himself, as the head coach of the Argentine national team.
Trivia: His debut with the national team (against Hungary) was a disaster: he entered the game in the 18th minute of the second half, and 47 seconds later was sent off.
